Pillow Lamps

Pillow Lamp is the latest project from experimental designers Thing Thing. Fabricated by the artists in their Detroit studio, it is the result of a long exploration into the industrial process of rotational molding. Made from HDPE plastic formed in handmade aluminum molds, each lamp has a unique pattern of wrinkles and creases. The lamp's kickstand is a copper pipe that has been reclaimed from a local scrapyard and polished by hand to a bright sheen. An LED bulb allows the lamp to stay lit for over 25,000 hours.

Pillow Lamp is a beautiful addition to any bedside table, desk, or dark corner and shines with a warm, mysterious glow.
